Astera calculates a natal chart from your date, time and place of birth and writes a text reading based on it. The positions of the planets are calculated from astronomical ephemerides, and the text is written by a language model (AI) that receives the finished chart. City coordinates come from GeoNames (geonames.org), licensed under CC BY 4.0.

The service is meant for reflection and entertainment. A reading is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it does not predict events. Do not make decisions about your health, money or legal matters on the basis of it.

You can use the site from the age of 16 and buy paid readings from the age of 18. Enter data that you have the right to use: your own, or that of a person who agrees to a compatibility calculation.

Part of every reading is open for free, with no sign-up and no payment. The remaining sections open after payment.

• Payment is one-off. There is no subscription and there are no recurring charges.
• The price is shown next to the payment button before you pay.
• The paid reading opens on the same page right after payment: the remaining sections are written from your chart within a couple of minutes. There is no need to wait for an email.
• The text of the paid sections is written for your chart, so it is different for any two people.

If the reading was not right for you, we will refund your money within 14 days of payment, with no reason required. The procedure is described in the refund policy.

A finished reading, yearly forecast or couple's reading is saved and opens via a personal link. The link is the key: anyone you send it to will see it. The page at the link does not show the date, time or place of birth. Keep the link the way you would keep the text itself. You can delete what is saved at any time with the button on its page.

• Downloading readings automatically or loading the site with scripts.
• Reselling readings or passing them off as your own consultation.
• Trying to get access to other people's readings or to get around payment.

The reading is written for you: read it, save it, show it to the people close to you. The design of the site, the illustrations and the page texts belong to Astera.

The calculation depends on the data you entered: a birth time that is off by a few minutes shifts the houses. The text is written by a model, and its wording may contain inaccuracies. We are responsible for keeping the service working and for making refunds simple, but we are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of a reading. In any case, our liability is limited to the amount you paid.

We may update these terms. The date of the last change is at the top of the page, and readings that are already paid for are covered by the terms in force on the day of payment. If you have any question, write to our support address.
